Nepal is a country with multicultural societies. All religions have equal recognition in this country and people are free to follow the religions they want after the federal democratic republic nation. There are more than 125 ethnic groups and 123 spoken languages in Nepal, which shows the diversity of this country in culture, language and religions. Hinduism covers around 80% of the total religious devotees.

Being diverse in culture and religion, Nepal is a country with mutual relationship between the cultural devotees and values. They do celebrate their own festivals and rituals and one respect another. For example, Hindu devotees go to the Buddhist monasteries and pay homage and so does the Buddhists, going to the temples and worship. No cultural and religious hatred can be seen among people having separate cultural background. Unity has been maintained in diversity.
