Everest Advanced Base Camp Trekking Itinerary

  • Day 1 Kathmandu (1,350m) – Lhasa (3,650m) or Arrival in Lhasa from China. Overnight at hotel.
    • Day 2 Full Day Sightseeing Tour In Lhasa, such as Potala Palace, Norbulingka Palace and Tibet Museum etc. Overnight at hotel.
      • Day 3 Full day Sightseeing tour to Lhasa. Visit famous sites such as Sera Monastery, Drepung Monastery, Jokhang Temple and Barkhor Bazaar. Overnight at hotel.
        • Day 4 Drive 325km for 5-6hours from Lhasa to Gyantse (3,950m) via Karo La Pass and Yamdrok Tso Lake. Overnight at hotel.
          • Day 5 Drive 95km from Gyantse to Shigatse (3,900m) via Shalu Monastery. Overnight at hotel.
            • Day 6 Drive 274 km from Shigatse to Tingri (4,150m) via Natang and Sakya Monastery. Overnight at hotel.
              • Day 7 Drive 68 km from Tingri to Rongbuk (5,000m). Overnight at hotel.
                • Day 8 Rongbuk to Everest Base Camp(5,220m). Overnight at tented camp.
                  • Day 9 Everest Base Camp to Camp I (5,460m). Overnight t tented camp.
                    • Day 10 Camp I to Interim Camp (5,760m). Overnight at tented camp.
                      • Day 11 Rest day for acclimatization at Interim Camp. Overnight at tented camp.
                        • Day 12 Interim Camp to Camp II (5,970m). Overnight at tented camp.
                          • Day 13 Camp II to ABC (6,340m)and retreat to Camp II. Overnight at tented camp.
                            • Day 14 Return from Camp II to Base Camp. Overnight at tented camp.
                              • Day 15 Drive from the Everest Base Camp to Nyalam (3,750m). Overnight at hotel.
                                • Day 16 Drive from Nyalam to Kathmandu (1,350m). Overnight at hotel.
                                  • Day 17 Transfer to Airport for your final departure from Nepal.
