Your first arrival will be in Kathmandu at the Tribhuvan International Airport. The next day is one of the best days of your entire trek. You make your journey from Lobuche to Gorakshep, the final settlement area before the Everest Base Camp. After enjoying some time at the base camp, you return to Gorakshep for an overnight stay at a local teahouse.
