Pikey Peak Trek Itinerary

Upon Arrival, High Camp Adventure team will greet you and escort you the local hotel where we will introduce you our guides they will brief you about Pikey Peak trekking; preparation for the trek. Overnight stay at the hotel.

After breakfast, we will drive to Shivalaya towards the north which is about 220 km. Depending upon the road condition, it may take about 9 hours to reach there via Jiri. Beautiful view of the surrounding hills, rivers, and villages will accompany your drive today. After bumpy ride for about 9 hours, we now reach our destination. Overnight stay at the guest house.

Our trek starts from today. We trek through small villages before reaching Mani Danda. We can expect a whole lot of uphill and downhill trek throughout Pikey Peak Trek. We cross few water streams on wooden bridges and trek through lush Himalayan forests till we reach Bhandar. Overnight at a lodge.

Crossing suspension bridges, we will trek for about 6 hours today. The trail is mixed with uphill, plain as well as downhill passing through different forest and village. After a few hours trek, we reach Thotung. Enjoy your trek; take a break to admire the beauty of nature. In about 6 hours, we reach Namkheli. Overnight stay at the guest house.

We will get the first glimpse of Pikey Peak today. The trail passes through thick forest before reaching to an open area of beautiful Nagaur Gompa. On our way, we trek through alpine forests of rhododendron and pine before we cross few wooden bridges to reach our destination. Overnight stay at the guest house.

We will be reaching our destination today. With this excitement, we will hike slowly up towards our destination and reach Bhulbule. The trail is mostly uphill up to the Pikey Peak. We trek through few pine and rhododendron forests to reach Lhamuje. After about 5 hours, we now reach the top of Pikey Peak from where we will get a beautiful view of entire Everest region, Khumbu region, and Rolwaling region. We will spend some quality time there enjoying the view of the surrounding. After that, we will trek down. Overnight at guest house.

It is a gentle descend downhill to reach Junbesi. Enjoying the vista of Mt. Everest, Khangteka, Khatang, Number Chuli, Thamserku, and Karyolung to the north, Manaslu, Langtang, Dhaulagiri, Gaurishankar, Dorje Lakpa to the west, and Kanchenjunga to the east, we trek downhill to Junbesi. We come across beautiful waterfalls, lush forests, and small villages on our way to Junbesi. Overnight at guest house.

Today is like an acclimatization day. We will be exploring the Junbesi area. We take 3-hour hike up to beautiful Thupten Chholing Monastery and enjoy the spectacular view of the Himalayas from the premises of the monastery. We will spend some time there and do some chit-chats with the locals and talk with the monks about the rituals and then return back to Junbesi. Overnight at guest house.

It’s a last day of the trek. We will descend through the forest and villages en route. Trekking along Junbesi Khola, we come across beautiful villages of Benighat and Bhagbeni on our way to Phalpu In about 5 hours, we now reach Phaplu. It is a the village with different hotels, restaurants, and lodges. Overnight stay at the guest house.

We will take a morning flight to reach Kathmandu which will take about 30 minutes. We will rest for the whole day the or you can do some sightseeing around the city. You can do some shopping to take as a souvenir. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Today is your last day here in Nepal. Check out from the hotel the and High Camp Adventure team will escort you to the Airport.
